  8. The save games are stored in C:\DOOMDATA.  Don't know why they did this.

  10. Several save game editors exist.  The best one is DMEDIT3.ZIP.

  12. Command line params.  -devparm must be used for most of these to be active

  14. -devparm                   : developer's mode (F1 for screen shot)
  15. -watch                     : demo mode
  16. -playdemo filename[.lmp]   : play .lmp file
  17. -timedemo filename[.lmp]   : play .lmp file, show gametics and realtics at end
  18. -nodraw, -noblit           : use with -playdemo or -timedemo
  19.      -nodraw               : don't draw anything, goes through LMP file fast
  20.      -noblit               : don't draw anything, run entire LMP file
  21. -port X                    : use alternate port X for network
  22. -net X                     : play X node game

  44. Ex: "doom -devparm -wart 1 1 -skill 4" will start you on the first map of
  45.     episode 1 with the hardest skill level.

  47. Ex: "doom -devparm -wart 1 2 -skill 1 -record test" will put you on episode 1,
  48.     map 2, skill level 1, and start recording what you do to a file named
  49.     "test.lmp".  To finish, you MUST either die or finish the level, then it
  50.     will dump you to DOS.  If you exit any other way, it won't save the file.

  64.              R = screen turns green (?)

  67. idclev     : Followed by episode number and level number (a warp!)
  68. idmypos    : Prints your coordinates in hex
  69. idchoppers : Prints "Doesn't suck - GM" (What ??????????)
